The Beginning
Little Friends of Living Faith, began as a 3-day-a-week, parents’-day-out program for students 18 months through 3-year-olds in October 2003. We had just 14 children on our first day. Over the years. Little Friends has increased from 3 days to 4 days and eventually to 5 days at the request of school families. Little Friends also expanded our class offerings to include four-year-olds and pre-K classes to complete our early learning commitment to take children from two years old all the way through kindergarten.
The Planning
In 2020, Living Faith again began to make plans for major expansion in our building and programming. With the building of a new Little Friends of Living Faith Early Learning Center wing in 2023, we are preparing to add full-day classes to accommodate students whose parents need full-time educational opportunities for their child.
The Growth
Over the years we have increased not only in the days and hours of care offered but have developed a culture of high-quality teachers, eager to teach and share the love of Jesus with our students. With parents as partners, we have developed a sense of community through family events and community engagements. Little Friends has also expanded our staff and training requirements to accommodate working with children who have special needs to ensure that all students are able to learn and develop strong friendships at Little Friends.
